Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Collegiate Organ of the Ministry of Transport has considered today the reports of profile organizations and agencies about activities in the first half of the year.

The Ministry reports that deputy transport minister Musa Panahov emphasized further reforming and development of the domestic transport sector.

The reports were presented by chairmen Arif Asgarov of Azerbaijan Railways (Azerbaijan Demir Yollari; ADY), Javid Gurbanov of Azerdorservis, and Chingiz Bakhishev of Avtotransservis.

The Collegiate Board assessed positively the results of the first half of 2011, but pointed to the need to tackle problems with passenger carriages by road and rail.
