Share distribution of Azerbaijani Internet service market remained almost unchanged for the last month
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani Internet services market has defined TOP 5 of companies - the main suppliers of Internet traffic to the end user. According to interactive schedule of the countrys internet providers placed on Azerbaijans primary Delta Telecom Internet providers site, key secondary providers of the country Bakinternet, Uninet and Azeronline actively competing with Stelford for third place in top triple still hold leading positions at Internet services market. The share of Bakinternet in the broadband Internet traffic market is 20.91%, Uninet – 13.66%, Azeronline 11.59%, Stelford (Connect) – 10.64%, Dataplus – 7.34%. Then follow Superonline – 6.73%, Ultel – 6.24%, Aztelekom – 4.10%, Adanet – 3.69%, and Astarnet – 3.28%. The most passive participants of the Internet services market are Azeurotel – 2.01%, Smart – 1.97%, Avirtel – 1.48%, Transeurocom – 1.40%, Information & Computer Centre of the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (Azdatacom) – 1.21%, Nakchivan – 0.95%, Caspel – 0.61%, Aznet – 0.54%, Intrans – 0.22%, Castel – 0.48%, Azintex – 0.27%, Globalnet – 0.11 %, Azerin – 0.13%. Azerfon (in connection with transfer to a network of second primary Internet provider Azertelecom) and Datacell have no share in the division of Internet traffic allotted by Delta Telecom. Exact statistics on mobile operators is lacking as Azercell Telekoms statistics is included in Internet provider Azeronlines statistics (they render services through the same network). Azerfon provides access to Internet through Azertelecoms broadband network which does not provide such statistics and only 0.43% of traffic falls on the share of Bakcell. Tags: Internet Related news
