Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The USA Embassy in Azerbaijan is going to help along with attraction of American companies to agricultural market of Azerbaijan , in particular processing industry.

Today in Baku at the meeting of Caspian-European Integration Business Club (CEIBC) the US Ambassador in Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza has reported that the state needs to direct financial flows in development of the country’s agricultural sector’s rich potential.

"In Azerbaijan the state puts up great funds for development of air, sea and road transport , flow of financial funds to tourism development is advancing but there is great rural potential needing financial investments. In particular , it is necessary to further develop farmers’ and agro business financing to develop the country’s export potential",- M. Bryza noted.

In his words , in this connection the country needs to launch different plants on agricultural production processing.

" We intend to attract American companies to Azerbaijan’s non-oil market , ready to cooperate with small farmers and invest means necessary to raise agriculture to national level",-the Ambassador shared plans.
