Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Today, the Council on Cybernetics, Information Technologies & Techniques has held a regular meeting at the Institute of Information Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.

The meeting participants covered the results of studies conducted in 2011, and achievements of the past 20 years, as well as issues of preparations for international conference Problems of Cybernetics and Informatics (PCI-2012) to be held in Baku in September 2012.

The conference is held twice a year. The last time the conference was organized in 2010. The conference presented 300 articles on this topic, of which 259 were published.

At the meeting it was noted that within the preparation it is necessary to form a new composition of the Organizing Committee to develop the website of the conference, and other organizational matters.

Following the meeting it was decided to entrust the leadership of the Organizing Committee to director of the Institute of Information Technology Aliguliyev Rasim, who in the process of organization will use the scientific potential of the Institute of Cybernetics.

Within the event it is planned to organize online conferences with participation of international experts.
