Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Cellular operator Bakcell is negotiating with Azerfon about establishing a video link.

Bakcell CEO Richard Shearer has informed of organization of 3G technology interconnection with Azercell and its demonstration at exhibition Bakutel.

"From our side there are not problems with making calls in the Azercell network. Negotiations with Azerfon are also under way. They will enable to establish a video link of the Bakcell subscribers with the subscribers of Azerfon network,” he said.

According to Mr. Shearer, the number of the Bakcell subscribers who connected to 3G service has reached 650,000.

"We provide the highest speed Internet service on 3G technology which makes 28.8 Mbit/s,” he emphasized.
