AtaBank starts lottery for cardholders of any bank in Azerbaijan
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. AtaBank OJSC has initiated instant lottery "Pay non-cash, get cash".
According to the Bank, the campaign will be conducted until 30 December 2012.
The instant lottery can involve individuals engaged in non-cash transactions through cards issued by any existing bank in Azerbaijan with use of POS terminals installed by AtaBank in various trade, consumer and public service facilities.
The instant lottery is designed for the cardholders, who carried out card transactions for at least 50 manats. For participation in the campaign the cardholder needs to get a raffle coupon. To receive a coupon of the instant lottery, the payment card users should collect for a calendar month all the checks on payment through AtaBank’s POS terminals and submit them to any branch or department of the Bank not later than the last working day of next month along with an identification document.
The payment card user will receive a lottery coupon for each check in the amount of 50 manats. Having instant lottery coupon, the cardholder erases the protective strip on the coupon. If he wins, the happy coupon owner presents it to the operations department. After the appropriate check, the winner cardholder is issued a withdrawal slip. The card user, by presenting the slip, gets a winning amount.
Within the campaign the 1,001 coupons are winning, and the maximum win amount is 1,000 manats.
"The main goal of the campaign, along with an increase in bank operations, is to accelerate the activities undertaken in support of policies to promote non-cash settlements in the country. In addition, an increase in turnover through POS terminals will have a positive impact on attracting of more commercial, residential and public service facilities to active cooperation,” the Bank considers.
