Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani students are to study at the universities of Belarus at the public expense.

Today in Baku, Nikolai Patskevich, the ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan, has stressed that the agreement on mutual recognition of education documents has been signed and entered into force in 2011.

"Thanks to this agreement, already since September 2012 students from Azerbaijan will be accepted to universities of Belarus within the framework of State Program of Youth Education Abroad for the period until 2015. Currently about 300 Azerbaijani students are studying in universities of Belarus at their own expense. We have excellent medical education, universities on IT, agriculture and other specialties," Patskevich said.

At present, most of the Azerbaijani students are studying at the government expense at universities of Great Britain.
