Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani government continues negotiations with the EU on the matter of construction of Trans-Caspian Gas Pipeline (TAG).

At today’s meeting of the Caspian-European Integration Business Club (CEIBC) Industry & Energy Minister Natig Aliyev of Azerbaijan has informed that they are in active negotiations with the European Commissioner for Energy Günther Oettinger on Trans-Caspian Project.

"In this regard, Turkmenistan has stepped up. We have prepared and submitted to the President of Azerbaijan two draft agreements on Trans-Caspian gas pipeline," he said.

Earlier, the European Commission issued a mandate for such negotiations with Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
