Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The State Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan has started monitoring of migratory birds on the subject of "bird flu".

According to the Ministry, the monitoring is conducted in the coastal zone of Absheron, Shabran, Salyan, Agjabedi and Lankaran regions. At the same time the Service asks people to apply, in case of an unexpected discovery of case of mortality of migratory birds or livestock, to its hotline 563-50-06.
