Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Council of Europe Expert Group on Money Laundering (Moneyval) considered the report of the Azerbaijani government at the 38th plenary meeting.
The State Securities Committee of Azerbaijan, whose chairman Rufat Aslanli led the national delegation at the meeting, reports that along with other issues, on MONEYVAL plenary meeting agenda were a report on the "horizontal review" of the implementation of recommendations by Azerbaijan.
"At the plenary session the Azerbaijani delegation delivered a report on the state of work carried out in the country. As a result of the discussion, the report of the Government of Azerbaijan was adopted unanimously," the Committee’s statement says.
The meeting was held in Strasbourg on 5-9 March.
