Ukraine announced of "non-realized opportunities field" between it and Azerbaijan
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and Ukraine are having talks on cooperation expansion and provision of mutual trade turnover rise against current $1,5 bn per year.
Today in Baku at the meeting of Azerbaijani and Ukrainian businessmen Foreign Minister of Ukraine Viktor Mayko has reported that there is a large field of non-realized opportunities between the countries.
" In spite of the fact that trade turnover between the two counties last year made $1,5 bn, this figure does not reflect potential of opportunities of both sides and realization of these opportunities both practically and theoretically depends on us",- V. Mayko said.
In his words , similar meeting should be held in Ukraine and assemble entrepreneurs for creation a ground for start of cooperation. The Ukrainian side is ready to provide necessary support and fulfill the tasks set by heads of two countries.
According to Deputy Economic Development Minister of Azerbaijan Niyazi Safarov , there is strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Ukraine and at todays meeting a wide range of Azerbaijani entrepreneurship is represented.
" Azerbaijani business is interested in work in Ukraine and so does Ukrainian business in Azerbaijan. Level of Azerbaijan and Ukraines relations is rising year by year and last year showed positive growth dynamics both in import and export between the countries. Ukraine occupies one of leading places among trade partners of Azerbaijan",- N. Safarov said.
The meeting took place within Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolay Azarovs visit in Azerbaijan.
