Baku, Fineko/abc.az. This year’s 1st exchange transaction with single European currency has been concluded today in the course of trading in the currency section of the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BBVB). It has become the first since 28 September 2011.

BBVB reports that on 4 April following the results of trading in the BBVB currency section a deal for 300,000 euro was concluded. Its rate totaled 1.0397 manats to the euro. The official exchange rate fixed by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan for 4 April 2012 was AZN/EUR 1.0379.

BBVB euro turnover for 2011 totaled 14.41 million euro on 11 deals.
