Baku, Fineko/abc.az. This year Azerbaijan is planning to strengthen the control over "Electronic Health cards" given to new- born children.

Health Ministry of Azerbaijan reports that in 2012 attention to mother and child’s health protection will be increased in antenatal, intranatal and postnatal periods.

" In this connection , polyclinics and other services will be actively connected to process of mother and child’s health protection , in particular their periodic attraction to medical check-up ",- the report says citing Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev.

According to the Minister, automated system will be launched in the nearest future, which enables to carry out daily collection of exact information from all stationeries in the country.

" Collected information will be  generalized by the end of the year and it will enable to get exact statistic information ",- the Minister noted.
