Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Tax Ministry of Azerbaijan has called the most active banks, participating in the process of cashless payments stimulation.
The Ministry reports that up to date 22611 POS terminals have been installed in the country at 20138 facilities and 93.6% of them are located in Baku.
" Work on equipping with POS terminals is firstly carried out in Baku hotels, trade facilities and catering trade points, rest and entertainment centers, taxis , petrol stations, medical establishments, drugstores and other facilities. Work in this direction in Sabail, Nasimi and Yasamal districts completed by 90%»,- the report says.
The report also says that commercial acquirer-banks - International Bank of Azerbaijan, Texnikabank, Demirbank, Atabank and Bank Standard have become the most active in this process.
