Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Azeriqaz Industrial Association of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has started upgrading of Hajigabul-Gazakh main pipeline at 65-69 km section.

The company reports that the gas pipeline with 378.4 km length was built in 1979. It enables to supply with gas South Caucasus’s largest Azerbaijani thermal station in Mingechevir and supply 2.5-4.5 million cu m of gas a day to Georgia. Reconstruction will start from 15 May in accord with the plan made on the basis of monitoring to increase safety of the country’s west regions’ gas supply.
