Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan has sent six reanimobiles to help the victims of earthquake in Zagatala region.

The Ministry informs that a potential danger to public health and sanitary-epidemiological tension emerged in Zagatala region, and in this connection medical teams were sent to the region.

From the very start of the natural disaster the Zagatala Central Hospital provided ambulatory care to about 50 persons who have received various injuries, and one person was hospitalized with a diagnosis of maxillofacial fracture.

Health Minister Oktay Shiraliyev ordered on delivery of medical supplies, food and medicines to the disaster area.

The local population in quake-hit villages Mamruh, Kezbarah, Chobangel and Gimir was temporarily placed in installed tents, ambulance for medical care are operating in the villages.

The yard of the Zagatala Central Hospital’s building affected strongly from the quake was installed two tents in which the population is given necessary medical care.

State of the wounded is satisfactory thanks to hard work of physicians, deaths were not recorded.
