Baku, Fineko/abc.az. By late 2012 Azerbaijan’s insurance company Qarant Sigorta is going to bring the volume of premiums up to AZN 10 million and strengthen positions in the list of top 5 leaders in the country’s insurance market.
Today at the press conference in Baku Board Chairman of Qarant Sigorta Fuad Allahverdiyev reported that following 2011 the company entered the list of top 10 leaders.
" The company is developing in accord with the plan within " Development Strategy " approved in late 2011",- F. Allahverdiyev said.
In his words, within the strategy, besides increase in receipts, it is also planned to increase share of private sales, which presently make only 20% out of total volume.
Following the first quarter, Qarant Sigorta collected AZN 17.6 million and made payments for AZN 3.57 million. The company’s premiums and payments rose by 65% and 27% respectively.
