Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Coordinating Council of the heads of CIS countries’ tax bodies is holding today in Baku the XIX meeting at which the Council’s presidency will transfer to the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan. Addressing to the meeting, deputy tax minister Sahib Alakbarov of Azerbaijan has claimed that among its CIS counterparts Azerbaijan can be considered a country with the most developed tax administration. However, this does not mean that everything is fine in our country, we also have problems. Improvement has always been actual, there constantly appear new challenges, and we will try to meet them in the period of the presidency in the Council, we will try to bring Azerbaijan’s experience to the CIS countries, as both we and the CIS countries are interested in that,” Alakbarov said. In the period of its presidency the Azerbaijan Taxes Ministry will participate actively in all matters and problems of the sphere of tax administration of the CIS countries. Related news
