Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Limitation of information access in Azerbaijan on commercial organizations’ founders and their equity stake is not to be total.

The amendments to the law " On state registration of legal entities and state registry " adopted in Azerbaijani Parliament today assume provision of information on commercial secret ( founders and their equity stake) ion the basis of special requests. The requests are satisfied in the following cases:

- for investigating and court bodies in the cases approved by the legislation;

- for  operative search activity agents in cases provided by the law " On operational-search activity ";

- for financial monitoring bodies in cases provided by the law " On fight against legalization of money and other funds received in illegal way and terrorism financing ";

- for executors ( tipstaffs) in accord with the law " On execution ";

- or lawyers in accord with the law on lawyers and law activity.

- As a result fears concerning the fact that the amendments will complicate anti corruption fight and money laundering turned out to be groundless.
