Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Vugar Aliyev, head of the Preventive Measures & Investigation Office of the Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, represented the country at the 2nd Conference of the International Alliance against Corruption.

The General Prosecutor’s Office informs that the event held twice a year was conducted this time in Washington, DC, June 5-8, on the theme "Combating Corruption: Innovation & New Horizons". The conference, supported by the World Bank, brought together representatives of 130 countries. At the end of the conference Vugar Aliyev passed a workshop held June 7-8 at the George Washington University on the issue of recovery of assets obtained by criminal means.
