Addressing to the meeting Juhan Parts, Minister of Economic Relations and Communications of Estonia, has informed that for the last two years the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Estonia has doubled and the potential of trade between two countries is quite wide.
"Currently, however, the volume of transactions on import and export is not particularly large and is 20 million euro a year. However, Azerbaijan is the most stable and rapidly developing country in the region, and we intend to expand our capabilities in this sphere," he said.
According to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, for Jan-May 2012 the Azerbaijani-Estonian trade totaled only $683,830, and Azerbaijan had $356,630 trade balance deficit with Estonia.
