Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received the delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of Iraq Roush Shaveys Nuri.

In the meeting President Aliyev pointed out that bilateral relationships between Azerbaijan and Iraq are well positioned for further expansion, especially in the economic sphere.

Roush Shaveys Nuri conveyed the greetings of the President Jalal Talabani and Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki of Iraq to the Azerbaijani leader. He expressed his satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan and the meeting with President Aliyev.

At the meeting the sides stressed availability of a good potential for cooperation in the energy sector, tourism, investment and other areas.
