Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Milli Majlis has taken a decision to ban broadcasting of foreign television series on Azerbaijan’s TV channel Ictimayi Televiziyasi (Public Television).

The ban is introduced by the approval of the amendments to the Law on Public Television & Radio Broadcasting". At that, it is implied permission for broadcasting of foreign films, feature and documentary films with subtitles.

The number of foreign films without Azerbaijani language to be broadcast with subtitles will be determined by the appropriate government agency.
