Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The first business forum between Azerbaijan and the State of North Rhine - Westphalia (Germany) is taking place in Baku.

In the course of the business forum vice-president of Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Gulshan Rzayeva has stated that Azerbaijan is interested in the expansion of German businesses in the country, growth in the number of operating companies.

"AZPROMO is ready to provide any support for German companies to establish and expand business in Azerbaijan," Rzaeva said.

Wolf-Christian Erich, head of the Dortmund Chamber of Commerce & Economics, has said, in turn, that successful activity of the German-Azerbaijani union DAWF has had a positive impact on trade and economic relations between both countries.

The German delegation will hold meetings in Azerbaijan until 5 July. The business forum is attended by about 80 and the Azerbaijani and German businessmen.
