Amrahbank opens a new sub-branch in Bina settlement

Baku, Fineko/abc.az. A new sub-branch (add: 13, G. Gasilov Street, Bina settlement, Khazar district, Baku) of Azerbaijan’s Amrahbank has started operating on 2 July 2012.

The Bank reports that representatives of local executive power, chiefs of state-financed organizations, businessmen, retirees and other residents of the settlement participated in the opening ceremony along with the staff of Amrahbank.

The newly-opened service point offers such banking services for retail and corporate clients as settlement and cash services, deposits, urgent money transfers, currency exchange, payment of utility bills, business development consultations.

At the opening ceremony, acting chairman of the Management Board E. Hasanov greeted the guests of the event and noted that, along with the fact that Amrahbank is one of the first banks established in Azerbaijan, Amrahbank is the first bank which opened its office in Bina settlement. He also added that, all the necessary conditions were created in the sub-branch to offer high quality and modern banking services to local residents and businessmen.

Established in 1993 Amrahbank is one of the oldest and leading commercial banks of Azerbaijan. It offers wide range of retail and corporate banking products and services such as opening of current and deposit accounts, plastic cards, clearing operations, consumer and business loans, local and international money transfers, documentary operations, trade finance, etc.

Strategic partnership with the Bahrain based International Investment Bank since 2008 (through 49% shareholding), has played a key role in further development of various spheres of Amrahbank’s activity such as corporate governance, international cooperation, array and quality of products & services, etc.

Currently, the Bank has the head office, 19 branches and three sub-branches. The Bank’s branch network covers the capital and the regions of our republic such as Lankaran, Tovuz, Bilasuvar, Barda, Ganja, Masalli and Shamkir.
