Baku, Fineko/abc.az. At an extended meeting the Collegiate Organ of the State Committee for Property Affairs of Azerbaijan has summed up the results of activity for the 1st half of 2012.

Committee’s chairman Kerem Hasanov has said that for Jan-Jun it was privatized 350 small enterprises and objects, as well as land plots under 250 facilities.

"Although in the first half of the year only one organization was privatized through investment competition, the privatized enterprises were invested 70 million manats and more than 300 new jobs opened," he siad.

For comparison, total investments in the country’s economy for the first half-year amounted to 5.9 bn and the privatized enterprises provided only 0.1% of them.
