Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Project capacity to be brought up to 15 million tons a year
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The governments of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey expect big profits from Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Project.
Today in Baku Minister of Regional Development & Infrastructure of Georgia Ramaz Nikolaishvili informed that cargo handling capacity of railroad Baku-Tbilisi-Kars in the first stage totaled 5 million tons.
"In the future the volume of cargo will reach 15 million tons," he added.
According to the Georgian minister, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Project will provide large profit for all three countries as it is of great importance and role in the supply of goods from Asia to Europe.
The IV session of the Trilateral Coordinating Council on Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Project has been held in Baku today.
