Heydar Aliyev Centre is on fire in Baku
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Heydar Aliyev Centre, located in geographic center of the city is on fire in Baku.
Ministry for Emergency Situations has attracted up to 50 fire machines, fire helicopters and fire plane Be-200 to fire extinguishment.
The fire covered west wing ( building) of Heydar Aliyev complex built in futurist style.
The Center was built in 2012. It has recently hosted first meeting- Krans Montana forum. In July 2012 Anar Alakbarov was appointed the Centre’s director in compliance with the presidential order.
Until his last assignment Alakbarov worked as Executive Director in Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
