Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan have a chance to solve their disagreements in September
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Turkmen and Azerbaijani governments have got the chance to solve their disagreements not waiting for holding III meeting of Azerbaijan-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.
Azerbaijani sources report that the meeting of the Council of CIS Government Heads will take place in Ashgabat in September.
" That gives the chance to both countries governments to clench arguments or bring together positions after recent escalation on the issue of the Caspian Sea division and development of its resources ",- the source said.
The meeting of Intergovernmental Commission which did not take place in terms proposed by Azerbaijani government (12 June) is now offered for holding in October. Such terms were offered by the Turkmen side, as the host side of the future meeting. The II meeting of the commission took place in Baku on 25 November 2010. Turkmenistan was represented then by Deputy Prime Minister Khidir Saparaliyev.
