Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Geology Institute of National Science Academy of Azerbaijan (AMEA) keeps on preparation of V international conference "Seismicity, earthquake forecasting and construction of seismic resistant buildings ".

The institute reports that the conference will be held on 7-12 October in Baku by the institute and Republican Seismological Center. It is dated to 110- year anniversary of catastrophic Shamakha earthquake and start of instrumental seismic researches in the country. The conference will assemble leading specialists from over 20 countries of the world, including the USA, CIS and European countries.
