Baku, Fineko/abc.az. National water operator of Azerbaijan OJSC Azersu has started renewal of water mainlines along central Neftchiler avenue of Baku presently closed for capital repairs.

The OJSC reports that at present metal pipes from funicular to Aziz Aliyev street are being replaced with polyethylene ones.

"250 km sewerage line and 1960 m water line are also being laid along Neftchiler avenue. Another 1286 m water line is being laid at the crossing of the avenue with Pushkin street to Yusif Safarov street to provide water supply of new buildings at this territory ",- the report says.

Repair work is planned for completion in the next few days after which water supply and sewerage services will be improved at this territory.
