SOCAR sells fuel from Lithuania, Hungary, Belarus, Russia, Romania and Bulgaria at its petrol stations in Ukraine
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) sells fuel produced beyond Azerbaijan at Ukrainian market. SOCAR representative in Ukraine Elchin Mammadov has reported that it is technologically difficult to process Azeri oil at Ukrainian oil refineries , SOCAR petrol stations are already operating and that is why they had only one way out- to purchase high quality Euro-4, Euro-5 standard fuel at Lithuania, Hungary, Belarus, Russia, Romania and Bulgaria oil refineries. " In future if we have own processing in Ukraine we will naturally process Azeri oil because very qualitative oil products can be received from it ",- E. Mammadov said. He did not specify the companys plans concerning oil refineries yet. " Theoretically each large oil company should have its own oil refinery. But that is theory and practice is different thing. I do not rule out that time will come when we will make a decision on purchase of oil refinery. Or it will be already existing one, otherwise we will buy a new one- time will show anyway ",- E. Mammadov said. Tags: SOCAR Energy, petrol stations Related news
