Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The number of foreigners in Azerbaijan, registered on the system of compulsory social insurance payers’ individual accounting has risen by 5,23%.

The report from State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan ( SSPF) says that the number of roeigners registered on individual accounting system in Azerbaijan made 12.898 people.

Individual accounting system includes working foreigners from 95 countries of the world, most part of them accounts for Turkish citizens- 7.497 people, Georgia- 1.527 people, and Russia- 672 people. Besides, 423 employees from Iran, 289- from India, 165- from Great Briatian and Nortehrn Ireland, 161- from Uzbekistan, 114- from Pkistan, 107- from Ukraine, 91- from Italy, 80- from Malaysia, 70- from the USA and others were registered.

The Decree of Azerbaijani President on application of the law " On individual accounting in state social insurance system " was signed in December 2001. Registration process on individual accounting system in the country started from 1 January 2006.

Individual accounting is organization and maintenance of information about each insured person, to provide pension and other social protection rights in accord with the country legislation.
