Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Plan of Measures on use of alternative and renewable energy sources and energy efficiency for 2013-15 presented by State Company on Alternative and Renewable Energy today, contains prospects that natural gas will become unpurchaseable for the country consumers.

According to the Plan, in 2013-15 State Company will provide connection of biogas to the network designed for natural gas. It will be preceded by research and analysis of biofuel prospects. The State Company also plans implementation of biogas projects.

So far it is difficult to say whether these alloys will be useful for gas supply of Azerbaijani consumers. Currently, main pollutant in the country’s gas system is associated gas which is produced about 4-5 bn cu m annually.
