Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Within the tour in Latin America Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov paid an official visit to Peru.

Azerbaijani MFA reports that within the visit E. Mammadyarov held talks with Peru Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Jose Luis Silva Martinot , Energy and Natural Resources Minister Jorje Merino, Foreign Minister Rafael Ronkallolo and Congress President Victor Isla Rojes.

At the talks J. Martinot told of his country’s interest in establishment of economic cooperation with Azerbaijan and readiness to create conditions for drawing Azerbaijani investments. J. Merino spoke for cooperation and experience sharing in energy sphere.

E. Mammadyarov extended message of Azerbaijani President to Peru President to his counterpart.

Victor Rojes raised an issue on development of intergovernmental cooperation for progress of economic, trade, energy and cultural relations.

Following the talks Peru Foreign Trade and Tourism and Foreign Affairs Ministers were invited to pay a visit to Azerbaijan.
