EU expects Association Agreement with Azerbaijan for November EaP summit
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The European Union is inclined for an early completion of negotiations with Azerbaijan on Association Agreement.
Roland Kobia, the head of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan, has stated in Baku that it would be ideal if negotiations finish before the summit of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) to be held in Vilnius in November.
"In reality, everything will depend on the willingness of the parties to reach an agreement," Kobia said.
In this regard, he welcomed holding of plenary session in Brussels on 9-10 April within association agreement negotiations.
"The Association Agreement will create a solid basis for the expansion of relations between Azerbaijan and the EU and accelerate their rapprochement," Kobia noted.
