Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The key producer of building bars in Azerbaijan, Baku Steel Company OJSC, indicates quite a wide raw material basis in the country.

The Company reports that currently it buys metal scraps at the price of $120 per ton and sells its products at $530 per ton without value added tax. Monthly manufacture makes 22,000 tons and quality of output is supervised by SGS and British Standards Institute (BSI).

“Available metal scrap in Azerbaijan ensures our Company’s activity for the next 10 years,” Baku Steel says.

The enterprise has staff of 1,600 employees.
