Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Nar Mobile continues to enhance of network coverage by installing 17 more new stations throughout the country.
The Company informs that due to commissioning of new stations, network coverage was improved in Baku (8), on Absheron peninsula (1), in Sumgait (1), Gusar (2), Khanlar (1), Astara (1), Salyan (1), Guba (1), Dashkasan (1).
“Nar Mobile will continue installation of new base stations in Baku, as well as in regions,” it was reported.
At present Nar Mobile provides 1.3 million of subscribers with high-quality communication covering area with 90% population of the country.
Azerfon LLC launched its commercial activities on 21 March 2007 under brand name Nar Mobile.
Today the network coverage of Azerfon reaches 80% of territory of Azerbaijan. Currently over 1.3 million of subscribers use the network of Azerfon. In 2009 an agreement on non-stock partnership was signed between AZERFON LLC and Vodafone Company.
