Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Solemn opening of Khachmaz branch of Azerbaijan’s Bank of Baku OJSC has been held today.

The Bank reports that the branch is located at the address: 30, Heydar Aliyev Street, Khachmaz.

This is the fifth BoB regional branch.

“New branch’s services cover territory with about half-million population. Along with Khachmaz region, branch’s services can also be enjoyed by the residents of Guba, Gusar and Davachi regions,” the Bank informed.

Opening the new branch BoB sets a goal to increase efficiency of banking services, extend customer base and ensure a wide range of services for the population of country’s northern region.

The new branch will offer such services as cash settlements, dibursal of commerfcial and ocnusmer loans, deposit operations, money transfers, card transcations, acceptance of repayment on loans, etc.

“Branch network expansion is main direction in our Bank’s long-term strategy. By the end of 2011 BoB plans to widen service coverage due to plans on opening of five more branches in regions of Azerbaijan,” the Bank informed.
