Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD) has completed the process of granting a $25 million loan to AccessBank.

The EBRD announced yesterday about granting of the second part of this loan to the Azerbaijani bank, the amount of which is $10 million. The 5-year loan will be aimed at expanding the portfolio of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) outside of Baku, with a focus on agricultural lending.

Previously, the first part of the loan ($15 million) was issued for the same purpose.

The EBRD also informed that its portfolio in Azerbaijan is $1.5 billion on 120 different projects.
