Baku, Fineko/abc.az. International rating agency Fitch Ratings has announced expansion of operations in Azerbaijan.

Today in Baku head of Fitch Ratings for Russia/CIS and Black Sea region Dmitriy Surkov has reported that the agency counts on expansion of business with corporate sector of Azerbaijan.

" Within our current visit to Baku we already note interest for cooperation by local corporate sector and hope we will be able to implement this interest ",- D. Surkov said.

So far Fitch works with 10 organizations in the country- 8 commercial banks, State Oil Company (SOCAR) and Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund under the Central Bank.

" Our potential partners should take into account a number of factors : we are well represented in the region, having offices in Moscow and Istanbul and are good in analytics sphere ",- D. Surkov said.

Today Fitch held Unlocking Azerbaijan’s Potential conference in Baku.
