Baku, Fineko/abc.az. A company, chosen by tender selection in order to draw master plan of Big Baku, will be announced in the nearest future.

Chief of information and international relations department of the State Committee for Architecture & Town-Planning of Azerbaijan Jakhangir Hojayev says the master plan of development of Baku subway will be certainly taken into account during designing of the plan of Baku.

“Thus, subway development plan will be included in master plan of Baku,” J. Hojayev said.

Presently, designing of master plan is close to completion. It consists of 46 stations.

Work to project the new stations has been launched in May, 2009; $5.5 million was allocated for these aims. Afterwards, the  prepared project will be presented to executive power  of the capital to estimate and attach the stations to the chosen area.

Today, underground of the capital consists of 21 stations, another one — Azadlig - will be put into operation some day.
