Issue on nonpayment of wages in state chemical monopoly raised in Azerbaijani parliament
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Activity of state company Azerikimya caused sharp statements in the Azerbaijani parliament. MP Ikram Israfili raised an issue concerning nonpayment of salaries to employees of the company for February-May, 2009. “Despite court decisions, Azerikimya does not pay the wages to its employees, and it creates social tension in Sumgait city, where 34% of families are connected with the state company. I ask for the government to assume measures to pay wages to the employees of Azerikimya,” I. Israfili said. In 2009, decline in production in the company exceeds 40%. Tags: Azerikimya Related news
