Baku, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan mortgage portfolio increases within the frames of loaning through the Azerbaijani Mortgage Fund (AMF) of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

AMF informs that mortgage loans for AZN 58.7 million were extended through the AMF this year and of them the loans for 8.5 million refinanced.

"From the beginning of mortgage loaning process in accord with the AMF standards started from 2006 it has been disbursed mortgages for AZN 134.5 million, including the loans refinanced for AZN 72 million,” it was reported.

In 2006-9 State Budget envisages AZN 94 million for financing mortgage operations.

Exchange rate by 1st November was AZN 0.8032 to the US dollar.
