Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan has reported of normalization of situation with construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line.

Musa Panakhov, deputy transport minister of Azerbaijan, project budget in Georgia has grown in normal volume.

“Currently works are carried out under schedule in Georgia and Turkey. In 2011 it is expected to connect Turkish and Georgian railway parts and operation of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars will start in mid-2012,” Panakhov said.

Azerbaijan extended a $200 million loan under 1% per annum to Georgia for project realization.
