Azerbaijani population’s power charge returned to 97.7% in February
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The national power supply operator of Azerbaijan managed to return to power charge from their retail consumers at high level. The Azerbaijani government says that this February charge from the population totaled only 97.7% as well as last December (the best index in 2009) after decline to 74.8% this January. In 2009 charge made up 88.1% and for Jan-Feb 2010 – 85.8%. This February the best indicators were registered in Sumgait city (231%), Neftchala region (168.4%) and Shirvan city (105.9%). In Baku where the major part of power consumers is concentrated the charge made up 83.1% in February. For Jan-Feb 2010 the power charge leaders were Sumgait (152.4%), Neftchala region (106.3%) and Shirvan city (101.9%). This January the best indicators were registered in Shirvan city (98%), Zardab (96.8%) and Gazakh (86%) regions. In Baku the charge made up 73.8% in January 2010. In December 2009 the best indicators were registered in Narimanov district of Baku (140.9%), Samukh (133.9%), and Khizi (129.3%) regions. While in Baku the figure totaled 101.1% in December 2009. In 2009 the charge leaders were Hajigabul district (106.9%), Shirvan city (106.4%) and Zardab region (104.6%), while charge in Baku totaled 90.1%.
