Baku, Fineko/abc.az. From 18 June to 1 July State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan conducted monitoring in 47 organizations and enterprises for production and certification quality as well as production conditions and observation of hygienic norms.

During the presentation Acting Head of the Committee’s State Control Service for Technical Regulation and Standardization Abulfat Imanov said that activity was stopped in 23 enterprises and ban for their products sales was imposed.

" In the course of monitoring violating rights and deceiving consumers, penalty sanctions for totally AZN 27.900 were imposed and 80% of these sanctions have already been applied ",- A. Imanov said.

In his words, the most problematic spheres, according to monitoring are bread, soft drink and dairy products production.

A. Imanov called for all consumers, executive power bodies, municipalities and others to apply to hotline «963».
