Azerbaijani market to get newest compounding materials for concrete
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Yesterday opening of first manufacture of chemical compounds to concrete of BASF concern in Russia and CIS took place on the basis of the concerns industrial complex in Podolsk region ( Moscow). The concern reports that the existing developed infrastructure will enable to quickly organize and establish production process to Russian and Azerbaijani markets. "The new manufacture will help BASF concern to comply more with special requirements of regional construction markets. BASF specialists have worked out receipts of compounds specially for provision of optimal characteristics in specific market segments , that is for central mixed concrete, manufacture of concrete goods, winter concreting, bridge constructions ",- the report says. Over 30 types of compound materials, including latest generation products on the basis of polycarboxylate ethers (PCE) will be produced on the territory of complex in Podolsk region. Among them is Glenium –superplastifier improving liquidity or mobility of concrete mix as well as strength of hardened concrete and RheoMatrix – compound for getting self compacting concrete. “Russia as an emerging market is very attractive for us. We expect the Russian construction industry to grow annually by seven percent in the next three years. By investing into local production of our high-tech admixtures we can serve our customers in Russia even more effectively and flexibly”, said Tilman Krauch, head of BASF’s Construction Chemicals division. Sergey Vetlov, General Director of OOO BASF Stroitelnye Sistemy, noted: “Construction companies in Russia are asking for more and more high-performance concrete to build projects in various climatic zones of Russia from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad. This results in an ever-increasing demand for BASF admixtures providing a good reason to start local production in Russia.”
