AMF states it did not halt lending on its standards
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund (AMF) under the Central Bank has come forward a statement about the alleged suspension of giving mortgage loans on its standards. The AMF informs that the country continues giving mortgage loans on the Fund’s standards. "The AMF sets mortgage lending limits for agent banks regularly. With the expiration of the limit and taking into account the possibilities of raising AMF finances, it is provided an increase of these limits. Giving of preferential mortgage loans at the expense of money from the country’s State Budget continues as well,” the Fund reported. A range of the AMF agent banks stated earlier that the Fund banned the agent banks to give mortgage loans and closed limits to all banks for lending on its standards. The AMF does not even indicate terms of opening of new limits and resumption of mortgage lending on its standards.
