Baku, Fineko/abc.az. One of the leading private banks of Azerbaijan, Xalq Bank OJSC, has launched a mortgage loan program.

The Bank reports that under the program conditions, housing can be bought both at primary and secondary market, in case the buyer make a down payment of at least 30% of the market value of the acquired housing.

The main advantage of this program is maximum loan amount of up to AZN 200,000, and its term of up to 25 years, as well as access to credit for foreign nationals. Minimum interest rate is 12% per annum.

The mortgage loan can be given to both residents and nonresidents of Azerbaijan aged from 23 years old to retirement age.
